For over 30 years, InterCommunity has provided quality evidence based services in honor of our mission statement.

"To help people living with mental illness and addiction disorders improve their quality of life by providing opportunities for healing and recovery."

InterCommunity is a community nonprofit agency providing mental health and addiction services to individuals, families, and communities within the state of Connecticut for over 30 years.

The agency is licensed by the Department of Public Health to provide mental health and substance abuse services.  Since 1981 the agency has been contracted with the Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services as the Lead Mental Health Authority for six townships. 

Today InterCommunity continues to provide the highest level of service to our clients as evidenced by full accreditation by the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities.
